Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 7, 2026

At HealthCalc (accessible from healthcalc.app), the privacy of our visitors is one of our primary priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information collected and recorded by HealthCalc and how we use it.

If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.

1. Data Collection & Usage

HealthCalc is a static multi-page web application. We do not require account creation, registration, or any personal email sign-ups to use our calculation tools.

When you enter values (such as age, height, weight, gender, or activity level) into our calculators, these calculations are performed entirely client-side in your web browser. We do not transmit, save, or store your health metrics on our servers.

However, like most standard web applications, we collect non-personally identifiable usage data, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
  • Browser type and version
  • Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • Date and time stamps of visits
  • Referring/exit pages and click logs

This data is used solely to analyze website trends, administer the site, track user movement, and gather demographic information to improve our tools.

2. Cookies and Web Beacons

HealthCalc uses standard "cookies" to store information about visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

3. Google DoubleClick DART Cookie

Google is one of the third-party vendors on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to healthcalc.app and other sites on the internet.

Visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

4. Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

We use third-party advertising companies (such as Google AdSense) to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, or tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content that you see.

Note that HealthCalc has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. We encourage you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information.

5. GDPR Privacy Rights (Data Protection Rights)

For users residing in the United Kingdom or the European Union (EU/EEA), you are entitled to specific data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We comply with all requirements:

  • The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data. (Since we do not collect personal profiles, we hold no personal data archives).
  • The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data we have collected to another organization.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

6. CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California consumers have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal data collected, request deletion of data, and request that a business do not sell their personal data.

HealthCalc does not sell personal health or usage data to third parties. If you would like to submit a request regarding CCPA rights, please contact us.

7. Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

HealthCalc does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
