How to Calculate FFMI — Step by Step

The FFMI formula requires two inputs: your lean body mass and your height. Here is how it works:

  1. Calculate Lean Body Mass: LBM = Total Body Weight (kg) × (1 − Body Fat % / 100). For example, a 75 kg person at 15% body fat has LBM = 75 × 0.85 = 63.75 kg.
